Lab Services
Pontchartrain Pediatrics has an in-house laboratory, which is C.L.I.A. certified. The lab is capable of running the following tests:
- complete blood counts
- urinalysis
- urine pregnancy test
- rapid strep test
- rapid influenza test
- rapid RSV test
- blood glucose level
- occult blood in the stool
- mono test
The results of these tests are available at the time of your visit. Other tests can be sent out to an independent lab. Our lab director, Dr. Kelly Londeree, and our lab assistant, Tina Bahm, work hard to provide accurate results to the doctors in a timely fashion with minimal discomfort to the patient.
